Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Coburn Dagenhart is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. She earned her MA in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Seminary-Charlotte. She also holds a MA in Theology from Covenant Seminary and a BA in Political Science from Furman University.
Coburn has worked with people in a variety of settings including L’Abri Fellowship in the UK, the missionary field, and as a lay minister in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Coburn feels strongly about incorporating a Christ-centered counseling perspective that brings healing to the client. Coburn works with adolescents and adults struggling with grief/loss, identity issues, trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions. She sees individuals, couples, and families. Having lived overseas for several years in Asia and Europe, Coburn has cross-cultural experience that is beneficial to missionaries and third-culture adolescents. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association.
